Joyce Martinez Hylender, CPA Founder & Executive Consultant
Joyce Martinez Hylender, CPA, is the driving force behind Hylender Solutions, where she leverages her extensive experience in accounting and finance to deliver innovative cloud-based solutions for businesses. With a distinguished career at PwC, Joyce led the growth of Wealth Compass and Bookkeeping Connect (FKA Insights Officer). Her visionary leadership has transformed how over 50 businesses and organizations approach digital finance and accounting, enabling businesses to streamline their operations and drive growth.
Prior to founding Hylender Solutions, Joyce was an Auditor at KPMG, where she handled complex financial scenarios across the nation, including bankruptcies, SEC Investigations, IPOs, and mergers & acquisitions. Her deep expertise in international accounting standards and data analytics, combined with her ability to foster collaboration between executive leadership and operational teams, has earned her a reputation for delivering results that align with business goals.
A Texas native, Joyce grew up in La Porte, Texas, and was recruited to play Division 1 golf at The University of Southern Mississippi. She began playing golf at the age of 5, and the sport has played a key role in shaping her resilience and leadership skills. Joyce completed her Master of Professional Accountancy while passing the CPA exam and serving as a graduate assistant. During her undergraduate years, she was also President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Currently residing in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, with her husband Dave and their four children—Maddie Kate, Meredith Grace, Holly Ann, and Carlos—Joyce is passionate about her family and community. She also serves as Music Director at St. Fabian’s music ministry.
